This is the song, from Krista Muir's 2011 album "Between Atoms," that made me want to start a remix project at all. She very very kindly agreed to not only let me hack up and recycle her art, but offer you this complete song along with my single.

I hope you check out the full album, which can be streamed and purchased at kristamuir.bandcamp.com (and I hope you grab her awesome 7" single, and her older albums, and basically everything she's ever done!)

I followed death into the grove
It turned to me and whispered go
It’s time to rise above
It’s time to rise up
Then death it flew into my hair
And it got tangled there
The more it struggled it cried
And then death (it) died

Anvils not angels weigh in
Dark matter
Brawlers betray championing
Dark matters
Challenging our universe
Dark matters
Strengthened when weakened
Dark matters

My angels, my angels are tired
My angels, my angels are tired
My angels, my angels are tired
My angels, my angels are tired
